Banco Bradesco was once at the top of its game until some recent political and economic activities hit it. Nevertheless, the appointment of certain individuals, including Trabuco Bradesco, allowed it to survive even through the hard times. Trabuco Bradesco was the president of the Bradesco Bank for a total of nine years. Currently, Bradesco Bank is the second as both an equity and private bank in the entire country of Brazil. He stepped down as the president, but he remains as the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
In 2009, Trabuco Bradesco was one of the 100 Brazilians who was considered the most influential all over the country. In 2015, he was one of the nominees for the Entrepreneur of the Year award, which was one of the categories of the awards special of a Brazilian magazine. Just a year later, he was a part of the best Chief Executive Officers in Brazil, which was a list created by Forbes magazine.
Trabuco Bradesco showed his potential even before he graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences, and Letters of UNESP, which was once known as the São Paulo de Marília. He later continued his studies where he acquired his postgraduate degree in Socio-Psychology, which he received from the Fundação School of Sociology and Politics of São Paulo.
Even while studying, he was already interested in banking. He began his career at the Bradesco Bank at an early age of 17. Since he started young, he had an idea of how the company ran at that time. He understood the ins and outs of the banking business, and he knew what the staff and the customers wanted. With such knowledge, fascination, and experience in the financial world, it was not difficult for him to climb up the ranks.
For more than 15 years, he had several tasks and assignments until he became the marketing director of Bradesco Bank. He became the CEO of a division of the bank that mainly focused on pensions. Finally, he was elected as the President of Bradesco because of his skills and understanding of how to run the institution.
