Nitin Khanna Mentors Entrepreneurs With His Own Tried And True Insights

Nitin Khanna is an entrepreneur and a co-founder of several of his own hugely successful businesses. He was born in India in 1971, and Nitin came to the United States where he achieved his undergraduate and graduate degrees in engineering. Nitin Khanna is the Chairman and outside CEO of MergerTech. His brother is his longtime business partner and also a co-founder of the firm for which he serves as the inside CEO. MergerTech was established in 2009.

Nitin Khanna is a mentor to other entrepreneurs. He talks about the important resources that well serve an entrepreneur. One key factor, according to Nitin Khanna, is the importance of creating a business plan. Nitin Khanna also advises a business owner to devote most of their time to the marketing and sales process and not to only focus on searching for new sources of funding. Nitin Khanna feels fortunate that his brother has been a trusted resource for him. The level of trust that an entrepreneur has with his or her close associates will frequently have an impact on the success of the company. Nitin Khanna has been successful in selling some of his startup companies for large sums of money. He also mentors entrepreneurs as to learning how to identify the correct timing for exiting their business.

Before leaving India, Nitin Khanna attended The Lawrence School, Sanawar. He is a graduate of Purdue University in Portland, Oregon. In 2002, Nitin Khanna was recognized as one of the 40 under 40 as an outstanding civic and business leader in Portland.
