Meet the Man behind the Invention of the Successful DAMAC Properties: Hussain Sajwani

Hussain Sajwani is one of the most successful businessmen in Dubai. Born by entrepreneurial parents in 1952, he has always remained inspired to venture into successful business ventures. He acquired several experiences and skills while helping his father manage his businesses since he was a teenager. Just like his father, he has become a successful businessman in the real estate sector.

His career journey

His career took off in the 1980s after graduating from the University of Washington with a degree in Engineering and Economics. He starting working at the Abu Dhabi Gas industries as the financial representative but later began his own catering program which later resulted in his development of several hotels that he believed were of demand for the inflowing population in Dubai. Due to his commitment, Hussain Sajwani later founded Twilight Investment that later translated into one of the biggest real estate companies known currently as DAMAC Properties.

His role in DAMAC Group

Hussain Sajwani is the founder, president, and chairman of DAMAC Group. He founded the company in 1982 from the DAMAC Properties which was one of the property businesses that kicked off the infrastructure development in the Middle East. His focus, sales skills, administrative experience, and marketing, as well as hard work, led to the establishment of other business ventures including the ZDICO Invests, Al Anwar Ceramic Tiles Company, and Al Jazeera Services. Hussain Sajwani has ensured that his DAMAC remains relevant to the development sector by serving different cities such as Jeddah, Abu Dhabi, Amman, Doha, and Beirut. Due to his commitment and success, Hussain Sajwani had been appointed the board member of several organizations including Takaful Company and Majan University.

His philanthropic services

Hussain Sajwani (@HussainSajwaniOfficial) is known to be a generous philanthropist across the Middle East. He has contributed over 2 million dollars towards charity programs that are aimed at improving the well-being of poor children. His main agenda is to ensure that the children get to eat and live decently just like those coming from well-off families. The continued support has improved the status of many children in Dubai and across the Middle East.
