There are many people who claim to be the hardest working person in show business. However, there is one personality who has as many as a dozen projects on his plate. That personality, Ryan Seacrest (@ryanseacrest), has been on a non-stop whirlwind of showbiz projects since breaking into the mainstream over two decades ago.
Many people may know Ryan Seacrest from “American Idol.” Then there are others who know the famous personality from his “Live with Kelly and Ryan” TV show. However, Mr. Seacrest is also one of the biggest radio personalities in America thanks to his two shows, “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” and “American Top 40.”
In a recent interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Mr. Seacrest talked about how he manages his busy schedule. Mr. owns two phones, a white phone for his personal life and a black phone for his professional contacts. Additionally, Mr. Seacrest maintains a townhouse in Manhattan so he can be close to as many of his production projects as possible.
Ryan Seacrest was just another radio show host with a few Hollywood credits back in 2002. It was then that Mr. Seacrest received his big break as a host of a little known talent show called American Idol. 15 seasons later, Mr. Seacrest has become his own personal brand industry with everything from multiple TV shows to a clothing line and the Ryan Seacrest Charitable Foundation.
Today, it appears that the “American Idol” run is over after 15 seasons. But, according to the interview, Mr. Seacrest does not believe that the show will be away forever. He envisions that the talent show franchise will be rebooted. And Mr. Seacrest is open to hosting the “American Idol” if it ever comes back onto the air.
Today, Mr. Seacrest’s main focus is his hosting duties on “Live with Kelly and Ryan.” When he is not in front of the camera, Mr. Searcrest works on his production company which includes the reality show, “Keeping up with the Kardashians.” As he enters his next decade in show business, Ryan Seacrest will continue to expand his show business portfolio.
