How NuoDB is Changing the Technology World

The database company NuoDB is primarily recognized for its use in the UAE Exchange, Dassault Systèmes, Alfa Systems and Kodiak. The company was founded by Barry S. Morris and Jim Starkey in 2008 under the name NimbusDB. It wasn’t until 2011 that the name was changed to NuoDB and 2012 for the patent to be approved. However, 2012 was when the company was put on the map when it was listed as a player in the Magic Quadrant by Gartner.
The primary goal of NuoDB is to build and boost business-critical cloud apps. The technological field is constantly changing, meaning that software companies are constantly needing to alter their on-premise models to remain relevant and successful. NuoDB aims to create a craft database design that is able to mold into the new requirements needed by software tech companies to match the service-based cloud apps. NuoDB’s product is focused to reach high standards in simplicity, durability, consistency, elasticity, and availability by utilizing aspects of SQL and NewSQL.
The company has used different strategic models but has always had the same goal and focus to reduce hindrance in the cloud systems. NuoDB is constantly looking to improve; in 2017, one of its products was able to scale-out across multiple hosts and process over 1 million transactions in only a second.
