DAMAC Owner Hussain Sajwani Prepares His Community For The Future

Hussain Sajwani is the founder and chief executive officer of DAMAC Properties, and he started the luxury property development company back in 2002. He continues to serve as the company’s chairman and as the majority shareholder and works to provide luxury living experiences all over the middle east and other parts of the world. To this day, the DAMAC owner continues to help create some of the world’s most unique properties. He also loves to spend time with his family when he can; including his four children and lovely wife.

Hussain Sajwani has always held his company to high standards to ensure it is a responsible corporation. He started the DAMAC Foundation as a joint philanthropic initiative in order to help build the kind of society that feels empowered. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has spoken about creating a wonderful society where people grow through picking up important skills and education, and DAMAC owner, Hussain Sajwani plans on helping with that mission.

According to, the DAMAC Foundation strongly supports the ‘One Million Arab Coders’ Initiative, which is an educational effort that works to strengthen society through the empowerment of a million Arabs. The plan is to give these people the expertise they need to land the kinds of jobs that the future will be providing. The DAMAC owner has always felt that it is extremely important to give back to the communities that his company works out of and plans on doing many great things through the DAMAC Foundation.

Hussain Sajwani has been a part of many other philanthropic efforts in the past and has no plans of slowing down as philanthropy is something he feels has been hard-coded into the Sajwani family. While he has contributed vast amounts of money to charitable causes in the past, he always wants to do more. His work with the Emirates Red Crescent helped to clothe over a million children, and he has also supported the Dar Al Ber Society and Dubai Cares. There is now more than 100,000 students who are enrolled in the ‘One Million Arab Coders’ Initiative, and they will surely benefit from the generosity of the Hussain Sajwani.
