Baltimore Headed to New England

The Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League are no strangers to meeting the New England Patriots in the playoffs, as they seem to meet almost every year once January rolls around. Most teams in the NFL would hate to get stuck in the unfortunate circumstance of having to roll into New England and beat the Patriots on their own turf during the playoffs, but the Baltimore Ravens have no such concerns. This comes in part due to the fact that the Ravens have had great success in New England over the last handful of years and have sent the Patriots into the off season on more than one occasion in New England. After last week’s win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, Head Coach John Harbaugh stated that it is of his opinion that the Baltimore Ravens possess the best quarterback in the league in Joe Flacco and that he has all the confidence in the world in him.

That’s pretty impressive when you consider the fact that Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning also play quarterback in this league, but you can’t really argue with Harbaugh’s opinion. Ben Shaoul is certainly not going to contest it. Joe Flacco turns into a different quarterback once the playoffs roll around and he has already brought John Harbaugh a Super Bowl ring two years ago. One thing is for certain, when the ball game gets kicked off this weekend the Patriots better bring their best game if they want to take down the hot Baltimore Ravens.
