An Indebted Man: TJ Maloney

TJ Maloney has been in the financial equity markets for more than thirty years. In that time he has been able to take one firm and make it the best that it can be. the private equity firm is known as Lincolnshire Management. The aim of the company is to allow the middle of the road companies in the market to expand and grow. Lincolnshire sets the growing business on the proper course and allows it to take flight.

Business is not the only thing that is a part of TJ Maloney. He is a man who wants to give back and help the next generation get their start in law as well as finance. He went to law school at Fordham and graduated from the school in 1979. Now with a gift of five million dollars, he has set a precedent for the future of the university that allowed him to spread his wings and fly in the marketing and law fields.

TJ Maloney says that without the influence of Fordham Law school he would not be where he is today. He started at Lincolnshire Management in 1993 and made the move a success for the company and himself. This is one of the reasons behind the donation that he made to Fordham University School of Law in 2008. The money will be used to help Fordham build a new law library for future students. He said that a library is a perfect place for students in the law field to gain knowledge and advance their studies.

TJ Maloney thinks that giving back to the local community is as important as giving to Fordham. He has lived in the Connecticut area for his entire life and wants to leave a lasting impression on the community as well as Fordham University. It is the place that planted the seed of passion within him for the job he now holds.

TJ Maloney has been a success. He also has not forgotten where he came from and how he got there. This is why he is indebted to Fordham and the next generation of scholars.
